The World of Trinity
Trinity is a large world that is really one large continent.  It is a land of high-fantasy where magic meets early renaissance technology and ideals.  There are many races and nations in the world of Trinity.  The large continent is home to 3 main regions.  The Eastern Kingdom, the Westerlands, and the Southlands.  Each region is home to many races and cultures.

Westerlands

The Westerlands are home to large human cities, vast Dwarven strongholds, and all manner of monstrous nations.  Not all monstrous nations are hostile.  Hobgoblin cities like Schwartzbruin have close alliances with Humans.  Teels and Portsmouth are the largest human cities.  The knights and paladins of the Westerlands are well known for their destructive cavalry charges.  Priests are a part of the warrior culture, and many Generals are men of the cloth.  The terrain here is varied, except for the large mountain range in the east that separates the Eastern Kingdom and Westerlands.  The northern edge of the region is home to evil humans from the nation of Beldar.  Conflict runs rampant, as a good versus evil conflict rages in the Westerlands.

Southlands

The Southlands are home to many races.  The elves thrive in the forests of the northwest, while humans occupy the eastern portions of the regions.  Many small settlements of Orcs, Goblins, Gnomes, and even Dwarves are found throughout the region.  In the east, vast deserts cover the land; there the Nomadic humans roam the wastelands.  Though strongholds built around the rare commodity of water grow strong and rich with trade.  It is home to the Legendary Dervish cavalry, and a host of talented archers.  The elf homelands in the northwest are also home to excellent archers and talented sorcerers.  The Southlands are the most violent and unstable region of Trinity.  Infighting in these lands is usually between the monstrous races and the more civilized ones.

Eastern Kingdom

Not much different from ancient China, the Eastern Kingdom is dominated mostly by humans and half-elves.  Large sprawling flatlands and rolling hills broken up by large rivers that span hundreds of miles characterizes the countryside.  This open terrain has always given way to large battles and epic conflicts.  Technological innovation has taken the place of magic, and all manner of magic users become more rare everyday.  The Royal courts of the three main provinces are wealthy from trade and care little for the common people.  Warlords thrive in the outlying lands where battles over borderlands are constantly fought.  Orcs and goblins are not welcome in these lands, and often hunted down with vigor by the locals.  The Emperor of the East rules his vast lands with an Iron and unforgiving fist.  Half-elves make up some 10% of the population, including many nobles.
